Florida Governor Rick Scott's Commission on Review of Taxpayer Funded Hospital Districts will meet again on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. The Commission was created by Governor’s Executive Order Number 11-63 to assess and make recommendations on the role of hospital districts, whether it is in the public’s best interest to have government entities operating hospitals and what is the most effective model for enhancing health-care access for the poor.
